This past spring, I made a decision that I hoped would change my life: I invested in the Digital Marketing Academy (DWA) course. At the time, it wasn’t just about learning something new—it was about survival. For years, I had been working two jobs just to make ends meet, constantly stressed about bills and never feeling like I could truly breathe financially. I was exhausted, frustrated, and, most of all, I was tired of the grind.

I knew there had to be a way out, a way to break free from the cycle of barely getting by. I wanted more than just surviving—I wanted to live, to be able to provide a better future for my daughter, and to finally have the financial freedom I’d been dreaming of.

When I came across the DWA course, something about it clicked. I had always heard about digital marketing, but I wasn’t sure if it was something I could actually do. Could I really learn it? Could it help me make extra income, so I wouldn’t have to rely on two jobs? Could it help me find the kind of freedom I longed for?

I decided to take the plunge and purchase the course. I didn’t dive in right away, though. Life kept getting in the way, and it wasn’t until this fall that I finally sat down and started working through the modules. To be honest, I was nervous. Would I be able to understand the material? Was this really the answer I had been searching for?

Starting something new, especially when you’re juggling so many responsibilities, is never easy. The modules were overwhelming at first. I wondered if I had made the right decision. But every time I felt stuck, I reminded myself of why I started this journey in the first place: I wanted a life where I didn’t have to choose between paying rent or putting food on the table. I wanted to stop feeling like I was always behind the eight ball financially.

It wasn’t immediate, but slowly things started to click. I started to understand the principles of digital marketing, and I realized just how much potential there was to make money online. It wasn’t going to happen overnight, but I began to see a path forward. A path that didn’t involve clocking in and out of a 9-to-5 job every day just to survive.

I still have a long way to go. I’m not making “passive income” yet, and I’m still working hard to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing. But for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. I see the possibility of creating something that will not only give me more freedom but will allow me to spend more time with my daughter and less time stressing about bills.

I’m sharing this story because I know I’m not alone. There are so many people out there, just like me, who are stuck in the cycle of barely getting by and dreaming of a way out.
